Sometimes I think people enjoy the idea of caring for a pet almost in the same way they imagine what it would be like to fall in love. It begins with an idea that develops into a fantasy. But unfortunately reality will rarely meet your expectations. Allowing something into your world whether it's a person or animal means commitment which correlates with certain sacrifices, such as time, but in return you gain companionship. I suppose what I'm trying to say is the work might seem relentless but that doesn't take away from the reward being limitless. So please be kind to your pets!! Or don't venture on that path.
